You'll hear a lot about convergence as an important phenomenon in the discussion of inequality. And basically what convergence means is that, if there is convergence, inequality will tend to narrow over time, and become reduced. In this segment, we're going to do is to take a look at the evidence for and against spatial convergence, meaning whether poor places grow more rapidly or more slowly than richer places.
