This chapter specifically focuses on the role of women in natural resource management and peacebuilding, as well as related challenges and opportunities. Sensitivity to challenges and awareness of opportunities, assisted by existing toolkits, can help develop post-conflict recovery programs that advance multiple sustainable development and human rights goals.
