From Attitude to Action: Sustainable Ocean Management

This chapter examines the role that human systems - specifically human value systems and ethics - play on ocean management. In this chapter, we will see how sustainable development needs to take into account the attitudes of people and we will see how this can be done on a governmental level as well as a non-governmental level. And the most effective way to take attitudes into account and different worldviews and values are through participation.
