Global Snapshots of Social Exclusion by Continent
From SDG Academy on 7 August, 2019
This chapter addresses the experiences of indigenous peoples beyond the European and North American experiences, such as the San in Botswana whose lands have been taken over for diamond mines. Within every country, even those that seem homogenous like Japan, are minorities that need recognition. Dialogues must be held with these indigenous peoples, as must dialogues about how to incorporate rights into discussions of governance in order to achieve sustainable development.
