Greenhouse gas accounting in the context of material value chains

The lecture introduces greenhouse gas accounting or carbon accounting. Nicole Labutong explains the three scopes of corporate greenhouse gas inventories under the Greenhouse Gas Protocol methodology; the importance of accurate data on emissions; and methodologies, standards, and technologies contributing to more informed decision-making, accountability, and progress towards net-zero emissions goals.
