Impact measurement and management process can be thought of in a framework of four steps.
 1. Creating a plan for impact by mapping the business operations against the Sustainable Development Goals and targets.
2. Identifying relevant indicators to measure and monitor impact.
3. Aligning the plan with the impact management norms.
4. Starting a monitoring plan by identifying gaps in existing evidence and reviewing different approaches to collect data.
