Partnerships for Implementing SDG15, role of international and regional banks, project and system management. Not long after the Second World War, a meeting at Bretton Woods established the World Bank as a new financial institution or reconstruction and development, and over time, they began to integrate environment into their mission. While these banks are generally a good force for sustainable development, their flaw is that they are very project-oriented, which is not good for managing systems like the Amazon. The private sector, which makes up 70% of the economic activity of the world, must also be involved in sustainability, like Unilever, for example, which makes sustainable choices about its supply chain to make itself successful in the long-run. We must have an integrated and visionary approach to development.
