Rebuilding Environmental Governance

This chapter examines the key components of environmental governance and approaches to incorporating good governance into the post-conflict recovery process, each of which address different facets of natural resource management. Good resource governance can protect people’s property rights, provide basic services, help establish reliable state security, and boost sustainable economic growth – underpinning all other post-conflict objectives.
