Scale and Scope of the SDGs

This chapter provides an overview of the course. It briefly discusses the various topics that will be covered including development of the SDGs, transformative pathways towards achieving the SDGs, cost and financing of the SDGs, and the various roles stakeholders will play. Dr. Sachs emphasizes the need to reset the pathway to development to ensure human rights, economic and social development, and a sustainable planet. The concept of people, planet, and prosperity is introduced.
