The Diffusion of Growth

This lecture emphasizes the importance of diffusion in the relationship between countries in which endogenous economic growth is taking place and those that are experiencing catch up growth. It details the need for a ripple effect” of modern technology and growth from the world’s technological leaders to the areas in the world that are still experiencing stunted growth and extreme poverty from setbacks of the era of colonization.
