In this chapter, Professor Sachs addresses the multiple types of financing that can be used to finance the SDGs including bonds and bank loans, development banks, official development aid (ODA), private capital markets, and private philanthropy. He examines the relevance of each of these types of finance for the various transformation pathways, including education, health, and energy.
