Mr. Utak Chung is the Director of the Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU), under the auspices of UNESCO. The APCEIU works regionally and internationally to promote education for international understanding (EIU), which strengthens participatory democracy, protection of human rights, social and economic justice, inter-cultural respect, ecological sustainability, and nonviolent and just reconciliation of conflicts.
